Speakers Committee

The Tufts Democrats have made it a priority to bring to campus and co-sponsor speakers whose viewpoints represent a diverse cross-section of Democratic values. While the Issues of the Future Symposium is one such event, we work to organize other events throughout the year that highlight the wide range in progressive, liberal, and Democratic opinion. Examples of recent past speakers include Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, founder of the New Democrat Network Simon Rosenberg, and New York Times writer Matt Bai.

Our coordinators are currently working on organizing speakers' events for the upcoming 2009/2010 school year.
