The Rise of a Democratic SuperMajority

Hi all, I’ve been out of commission with oodles of work; the end of the year is fast approaching. but I figured I check back in quickly to point out something I’ve been noticing. With President Obama’s new decision to push immigration “reform,” I have begun detecting a worrisome pattern.

Updated Cabinet Predictions

So, I've been working this out, and here are my predictions, as of now:Secy. of State: Chuck HagelSecy. of Defense: Wesley Clark (with Gates staying on for 6 months or so)Secy. of Homeland Security Sam Nunn/Dick LugarNational Security Adviser: Lugar/NunnAtty. General: Deval PatrickSecy. of the Treasury: Warren BuffetSecy. of Energy: Al Gore

The future

Well, Obama has won the election. I can go one of two directions with my post-victory blog post: the very tactical, or very abstract. For today, I chose the latter (don’t worry, we have two months for tactical politics). So, what does the election of Barack Obama mean for our 2-party system?
